Terms
Terms of Use
1. Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and RUEZALS (Texas), which operates the Raziel's Mercy™ app (a lost Android recovery system) and archangelraziel.com. By using Raziel's Mercy™ you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. A separate company may take over operation later; we will update these Terms if so.
2. What Raziel's Mercy™ does
Raziel's Mercy™ helps a lost phone find its way home. The Free tier shows a return-my-phone message on the lock screen and a button to call the owner (what's in Free may change). Paid tiers may add geolocation, masked call, remote delete, finder photos, Lost Mode takeover, startle alert and boot retry; nearby Wi‑Fi top‑5 scanning, signal trilateration and a hotspot breadcrumb trail. Features may differ by Android device and may change.
3. Your account
You manage Raziel's Mercy™ from the owner dashboard on archangelraziel.com. Keep your sign-in private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Eligibility (18+). Raziel's Mercy™ is intended as a family tool managed by adults. The Raziel's Mercy™ account must be purchased and managed by an adult 18 or older, who is the account holder and is responsible for every device on it, including devices the account holder provides to family members. The service is not directed to children under 13.
4. Only on phones you own or are authorized to manage
You may install and use Raziel's Mercy™ only on phones you own, or that you are legally authorized to manage (for example a company phone you administer, or your minor child's phone).
5. Acceptable use — no tracking or photographing other people
Raziel's Mercy™ is for recovering lost phones, not for watching people. You must not:
- Install Raziel's Mercy™ on someone else's phone, or use it to track, locate, monitor, or photograph another person without the legal right to do so.
- Use finder photos, location or Wi‑Fi data to harass, threaten, stalk, expose or confront anyone.
- Try to break, reverse engineer, or misuse the service.
If you get your phone's location, please contact the police rather than confronting anyone. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Startle alert
The startle alert is a harmless sound or screen alert meant to draw attention to a lost phone. It is not a threat and must not be presented as one, and it does nothing to harm the phone or the person holding it.
7. No guarantee of recovery
We work to help, but we cannot promise your phone will be found or returned. Location, photos and Wi‑Fi estimates can be missing, delayed or inaccurate, and some features depend on the phone being on, connected and permitted by its operating system.
8. Paid plans, cancelling and refunds
How paid plans work. Paid plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions bought through Google Play [or directly on our website]. Before you buy, you are shown the price and how often you will be charged. Your plan renews automatically at that price each period until you cancel.
24-hour setup period on every subscription charge. Every subscription charge — your first one and every renewal — starts a 24-hour setup period. If you cancel during the setup period, we refund that charge in full. The setup period is not a free trial and does not delay your charge: you are charged in full when the charge is made, and your paid features work right away. After the setup period ends, that charge is not refunded, including any unused part of its period.
Cancel any time; cancelling stops all charges. When you cancel, your subscription ends immediately. We will not charge you again or retry any unpaid charge, and any unpaid bills for that subscription are closed. If you cancel within the setup period you receive the full refund described above; if you cancel later, your paid features end when you cancel and that period's charge is not refunded. You can cancel yourself in Raziel's Mercy™ from Settings → Manage subscription, which shows how much setup time is left, and we confirm every cancellation by email and in the app. On Google Play you can also cancel at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Uninstalling Raziel's Mercy™ does not cancel your subscription.
One-time purchases are final. Items bought once (not subscriptions) are delivered only after your payment clears. If the payment fails, the item is not delivered and you are not charged. Once delivered, one-time purchases are final and have no setup-period refund.
If a subscription payment does not go through. If a subscription payment is still pending or has not been collected 24 hours after it was attempted, your account access is paused, not deleted, and you will see a Payment Processing Issue notice in the app and by email. This usually means your bank or card issuer has not approved the payment; please check with your financial institution so the bill can be paid. Access is restored automatically as soon as the payment is verified. If you would rather cancel, cancelling closes the unpaid bill and stops all further attempts to charge you.
The stores' own refunds and your legal rights. Google runs its own refund policy, separate from ours, and may refund purchases even where we would not — for example, Google Play says purchases may be eligible for a refund if you ask Google within 48 hours. "Final" and "not refunded" in this section describe only our own policy. Nothing in this section limits any refund or cancellation rights you have under the law where you live.
Price changes. We will tell you before a price change takes effect, so you can cancel first if you want.
9. Remote delete
Remote delete permanently erases data on your phone and cannot be undone. Use it carefully; we are not responsible for data lost because you chose to erase a phone.
10. Changes and ending service
We may change, add or remove features, and update these Terms; we will notify owners of meaningful changes in the dashboard. You may stop using Raziel's Mercy™ at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that misuse the service.
11. Disclaimers and limits of liability
Raziel's Mercy™ is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RUEZALS is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of a phone, data or profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Raziel's Mercy™ in the 12 months before the claim. [Draft: cap amount and wording to be reviewed.] Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
12. Your responsibility
You agree to cover claims against RUEZALS that arise from your misuse of Raziel's Mercy™ or from breaking these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas. [Draft: county / arbitration — TBD.]
